Anthony Joshua suffered a disheartening defeat to Oleksandr Usyk a couple of months back. Joshua, in this fight, failed to find his rhythm. Also, he failed to land his colossal right hand, which might have floored Usyk. But, ever since that loss, the only thing going on in the big man’s mind is a rematch.

That said, the Briton has officially triggered a second meet with Usyk and this fight is expected to go on the floors by early 2022. Moreover, in the past few days, Joshua also met bigwig coaches like Eddy Reynoso, and Ronnie Shields to figure out what went wrong for him in the Usyk contest.

What was surprising was that Joshua even received offers from Tyson Fury and Sugarhill Steward to train him for the Usyk fight.

Speaking to FightHype, Steward said, “I think it would be me and Tyson, but yeah, that’s what he wants to do. That door is open as I have stated and Tyson has stated so I don’t know if people think it’s a joke or not.”

“Listen, in any other sport, you have superstars teaming up with other superstars to win championships and do great things in that sport. Basketball, soccer, football, soccer, baseball, they’re joining team, joining forces so boxing can join forces almost similar to fighters back in the day where it was several world champions in the same gym,” he added.

Is this a once-in-a-lifetime offer for Anthony Joshua?

Not even a single boxing fan would have imagined seeing Fury and Joshua train together. But since Steward is so serious about looping Joshua in his training camp, the fans might witness two of the best heavyweights in the gym together.
