WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has confirmed he won’t be facing Anthony Joshua in December despite AJ seemingly agreeing to Fury’s terms. The negotiations for this fight have been going on for months, with no conclusion being reached. Now Fury has walked away from this bout entirely and might never fight his countrymen ever.

In an interview with Behind The Gloves, Fury vowed never to face Joshua, also putting an end to the speculation about the match. “There’s no more fights now because, let’s face it, I’ve tried to make this fight with those guys for about four years. There has always been something stopping it. So if they’re not going to fight, they’re not going to fight. I’m not going to waste any more time.” He said.
He added that his father John Fury had already called out Joshua’s promoter and Matchroom CEO Eddie Hearn who, according to Fury, cost Joshua $105 million by not signing the contract.”Eddie is no brains, he’s daft. He goes on like he’s a clever guy, but he actually cost AJ $105 million and probably got him beaten in his last fight, for what? $25 or $30 million? That’s a lot of money, but it’s not $105 million. So pretty silly. So if they’re not going to fight for $105 million, they’re not going to fight for any amount of money. ” He added

It looks like Fury has moved on to other contenders, which might be best since he is having a hard time finding an opponent. The Gypsy King decided to delay his retirement, announcing he will return to the ring by December.

Tyson Fury reveals who he wants to face next
According to The Telegraph Fury has cited his interest in completing a trilogy against his longtime rival Dereck Chisora. Despite Fury getting the better of ‘Del Boy War’ in their previous two fights, he wants to face off against a familiar foe. Moreover, it was reported that Mahmoud Charr is also being considered as a potential matchup.

Although the fight with Joshua has been called off, many still feel that Chisora might not be the best contender for Fury. This coupled with the outstanding victory by Joe Joyce over Joseph Parker has made fans wonder why Fury hasn’t considered a fight with him.
