It’s boxing’s biggest night and the world seems to have descended on Riyadh to witness the clash between the undefeated champions Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury. While supporters and fans alike make their presence heard at the event, special guests of Fury, his kids, have arrived to watch their heavyweight father undertake his career’s most important fight.

Tonight’s matchup between the fighters marks the finale of sorts of their hostility that has ensued for longer than a year now. This historic fight that will crown one among them as the undisputed champion, has been pushed and postponed on multiple occasions. It resulted in a sense of animosity between the WBC champ, Fury, and his WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO titlist counterpart. However, certain images from the venue have also outlined the mutual respect that flourishes between them.

Fury’s eldest son, Prince John James, took to his Instagram account to share sneak peeks from the venue. In one such post, he along with his brother, Prince Tyson II, namesake of his dad, ‘The Gypsy King’ struck a pose with tonight’s formidable opponent, Oleksandr Usyk. In the image, ‘The Cat’ can be seen wearing denim, a black t-shirt, and a red jacket.

The post underscored the sportsmanship between the fighters, a stark contrast to the heated discussions among fans about the fight’s nature.

 Oleksandr Usyk: A Class Act?

It is hard to decipher why Usyk posed with his opponent’s kids. While most would want to assume that it was his kindness that nudged him to do so, his facial expression said something else. But maybe, he was just striking a pose with a poker face? One fan noted that the fighter in all his presence, outfit, and expression looked like a gangster. They wrote, “Usyk lookin like a gangster.”

Another user, an ardent Usyk fan from what it looked, brought their sass as they noted that even Fury’s kids knew Usyk was going to win the fight. They stated, “Even Tyson’s kids want a picture with the already known winner.”

A fan used the comment section to express their wish to see the Ukrainian fighter win the matchup. The user also pointed out that they liked Fury, but his father-cum-trainer, John Fury, ruins his connection with fans. They said, “I really hope he wins!! I love tyson but his dad has made a mockery of boxing!!!”

Another user pointed out the courtesy both the fighters have shown toward each other. In this case, how Usyk was kind enough to take pictures with Fury’s kids. They mentioned, “Love the respect between Tyson and Usyk, two classy champions, May the best man win.”

Another user highlighted how close the fight is going to be, so much so, that it is hard to predict the winner. They wrote, “Really can’t call this one. Usyk is slick, and fighting for the honour of his country which is at war. Tyson on good form it looks like, and in the best shape we’ve seen him in. It’s gonna be historic that’s for sure.”

While it was all smiles before the event for everyone (except for Usyk in the post), when the gong heralds the start of their fight, it will be a war between two men. Who do you think wins? Take your picks in the comments section below.
