Recently, the reigning WBC and the ring heavyweight champion Tyson Fury took to social media and dropped a hilarious video. In this video, ‘The Gypsy King’ recorded a quick answer to a regular question about why he is in boxing.
He said, “So I get asked on a regular basis. Why am I in boxing? Simple, I am in boxing for two reasons. I am in boxing for the money and for the p***y that come with it.”

In the historical purse bid, it was announced that ‘The Gypsy King’ will face the WBC interim heavyweight titleholder, Dillian Whyte. However, prior to this confirmation, WBC had made Whyte a mandatory challenger in December 2021. But in the initial negotiation between the promoters of the duo, talks freeze on the purse distribution.
