Following his enthralling win over Deontay Wilder in October, Tyson Fury was on the lookout for his next opponent. Initially, the WBC ordered Fury to fight Dillian Whyte, the WBC interim champion. However, due to legal hassles, the WBC canceled the fight.
After weeks of deliberation, the WBC has officially ordered Tyson Fury’s next fight. He will take on Dillian Whyte for his WBC title defense. The fight is currently in a period of free negotiations. If both sides cannot reach an agreement for the fight, the WBC will order a purse bid.

The fight will be an all-English battle for the WBC heavyweight title. As the former training partners are not on the best of terms, there will be a lot of animosity going into the fight.
