Former WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is known for his trash-talking skills and he has tested his tantrums on WBC, WBO, and WBA heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk as well. However, his latest verbal jab seems to have elicited a response from Usyk’s manager Egis Klimas, who compared the ‘The Gypsy King’ to Russian president Vladimir Putin.
Now, it appears that Tyson has finally responded to Klimas’ remarks in a recent interview. Things kicked off when Tyson Fury decided to share a post on Instagram a few days ago, writing, “You had your shot but couldn’t finish the job! Mistake… F**k @usykaa f*** @klimasmanagement f**k @alex.krassyuk & if your down with Usyk then f**k you 2!”
While this post could not get much of a rise out of Fury’s Ukrainian rival, it did offend Fury’s manager Klimas. Initially, ‘The Cat’ responded to Fury’s post by writing, “You’re really cool, my friend” in his Instagram story. However, later, Klimas took to X, sharing a much harsher take on Fury’s post.

Usyk’s manager wrote in a tweet, reacting to Fury’s comment, “Sounds like putin, if you are not with me f**k you, and it means you against me. You pal, f**k you back!!!” It’s no secret the current state of the world, with Russia and Ukraine being at war. So, it appears that Fury didn’t appreciate Klimas’ comparison of him with the Russian president.
While appearing in an interview with Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotion’s YouTube channel during the Nick Ball vs. Ronny Rios fight yesterday—let’s just say—Fury unleashed his fury. “I know his team [is] a little bit upset. They’ve even compared me to Vladimir Putin today. I’m not sure why. Egis, f*** you, f*** your team, f*** Usyk. And if you’re down with Usyk, then f*** you too,” Fury calmly said.
Turning to his much-anticipated rematch with Oleksandr Usyk, Fury concluded, “I’m going in there to smash a motherf***er’s face in. Whatever I’ve got to, I’ll do it.” In the meantime, he has also revealed his new game plan to beat his Ukrainian rival come fight night.

Failing to secure a win last time, Tyson Fury has revealed that his approach for his December 21st rematch with Oleksandr Usyk will be much more aggressive than before. Notably, Fury suffered his first career defeat via a split decision in May when Usyk managed to turn Fury’s legs into noodles in the mid-rounds.
This has led to Fury abandoning his cautious tactics, as he tries to destroy Usyk. “I’m going to go in there with ‘destroy mode,’” Fury told TNT Sport. “Last time I went to box him, I was being cautious. I boxed the head right off him… This time I’m not going for a points decision. I’m going to knock a motherf****r out!”
Fury seemed extremely confident in his new approach, claiming he didn’t even need a full camp for the bout. “I can come in the ring at 30 stone and do 15 rounds,” he said, adding that he’s ready to fight “tonight, tomorrow, next weekend.”

That said, Tyson Fury didn’t seem too happy being compared to the Russian President. However, the question is, was it fair for Usyk’s manager to share such a harsh take on some trash talk that’s aimed at promoting his boxer’s upcoming fight? You be the judge and let us know in the comments.
