Boxing fans have been eagerly awaiting a match between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua for years. Both of them were strutting their way on the road to glory until Joshua lost two straight fights to Oleksandr Usyk. Fury declared his intention to face Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight championship after coming out of retirement.

However, he then admitted that Joshua will be his first opponent. Unfortunately, the Fury vs. Joshua fight did not meet its fruition. Eddie Hearn, a rival promoter of Fury talked about it.

Eddie Hearn, the head of Matchroom Boxing, was questioned by ‘BetOnline’ over the collapse of the Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua fight. Hearn said that people should not remember what took place behind closed doors because they will never get the truth about what transpired there.

Hearn went on to describe his side of the story and said, “Tyson Fury put two deadlines on Anthony Joshua and said if you don’t sign this fight today, the fights off. The first one we kind of you know, I convinced AJ to let us carry on. Fury agreed to carry on and another couple of days he did it again.”
