Tyson Fury Confesses to Committing $1 Million ‘Crime’ on Camera

With the win over Derek Chisora on December 3 last year, Tyson Fury defended his WBC title successfully for the third time. But he had almost retired for good after the Dillian Whyte fight on April 22! Then, the talks on a battle against former champion Anthony Joshua came unglued. However, fans weren’t left disappointed when the news of the fight against the WBA Heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk from Ukraine cropped up. Per a few available reports, discussions are still on to close the deal. Other details claim the fight is almost certain to occur in Saudi Arabia by April 29.

It seems Fury wants to settle the undisputed Heavyweight champion’s question before a possible retirement. After all, the thirty-four-year-old would complete fifteen years in professional boxing this year. The journey, which hasn’t been without its pitfalls, rewarded him both in terms of fame and monetarily. Known for living a king-size lifestyle, ‘The Gypsy King’s’ love for cars and watches is well known.

Tyson Fury discusses an unimaginable purchase

It might surprise many fans when they hear about some of the world champion’s investments. Sports drink brand ‘WOW HYDRATE’ shared a video clip of Tyson Fury today through their Instagram handle @wowhydrate. More than 80k follow the brand.

In the clip, the reporter asked Fury, “What is the dumbest thing you’ve bought with your winnings?” Without batting an eyelid, the champion responded, “I bought a lot of dumb s**t in my time. I once bought this piece of moon-rock.”

Probably taken aback, the reporter asked once again whether he meant a piece of rock taken from the moon! And ‘The Gypsy King’ responded, “A rock from the moon for like a million dollars.”

Indeed, without a shadow of a doubt, for many followers, it should stand out as one of a kind purchase. As ridiculous as it may sound, Fury did admit to purchasing a moon-rock for a whopping million dollars. But then, who better to commit such a ‘crime’ than the beloved ‘Gypsy King’ himself?

The day that will go down in history books

According to a report in The Sun, Queensberry Promotions’ Frank Warren shared on both the camps (Fury & Usyk) chalking out the final details of the epic clash. He said, “The fight will take place 100 percent the last Saturday in April. “Where it takes place, I genuinely think, will be determined within the next six or seven days maximum. “If we can’t do what we’re being asked to do with Tyson and Usyk [in Saudi Arabia], then the fight will take place in the UK.”

Usyk hasn’t fought since winning last August’s rematch against Anthony Joshua. But, reportedly, he too seems keen to close the arguments on the best Heavyweight boxer in the business.

Notably, Lennox Lewis was crowned the undisputed Heavyweight champion of the world in 1999 when he defeated Evander Holyfield.
