Tyson Fury hasn’t been inside the ring for four and a half months now, and today it’s been a year since he made Dillian Whyte touch the canvas in the sixth round. Though there were chances for him to fight Oleksandr Usyk on April 30, as it turned out, it got canceled as both fighters couldn’t find a middle ground in the contract, despite the fact that Usyk reportedly agreed to the 70/30 purse split. After the cancellation, the fans were hoping to see ‘The Gypsy King’ tale on another opponent on April 30, however, that too will not be happening now. Recently, Fury shared his plans on his Instagram Story.

Tyson Fury wished his fans, ‘Happy St. George’s Day’ and also reminded everyone of the one-year anniversary of his KO win over Whyte. Fury hasn’t forgotten his spectacular victory and plans to double celebrate on such two great occasions. He also hinted at his boxing training, so the fans must know that he’s still preparing hard for his upcoming fight. There may be some behind the curtain talks going on regarding his next fight.

Tyson Fury made a video of himself and shared it on his Instagram Story, where at first he wished everybody the happiest St. George’s Day, and then he further went on to explain why today is even more important for him, as he remembers his KO win exactly one year ago.

Fury said, “Happy St. George’s today, of course, it’s an anniversary for me today. It’s a year since I knocked out Dillian Whyte at Wembley in front of none other than 94,000 people in London.

Then he again talked about how he’ll be celebrating this anniversary. Interestingly, there was also a time, when Fury shared his retirement plans when he was done with his fight against Whyte. But that certainly did not happen as we can see Fury making celebration plans for tonight, while still being the great boxer he is.

Fury said, “So I’m gonna celebrate today with 15 rounds of boxing. Come on! And then I’m gonna go out and I’m gonna get me f**king red white blue suit on and I’m gonna get absolutely tanked. For England, Happy St. George.
