Last weekend, the WBC heavyweight champ, Tyson Fury, attended the Canelo Alvarez vs Billy Joe Saunders contest at the AT&T Stadium. In the super middleweight bout, Fury’s compatriot, Saunders, suffered his maiden career defeat. A whopping uppercut landed by Canelo Alvarez struck the Brit, which left him with an eye injury.

As the fight concluded, Saunders’ father, who was ringside, went to check in to his son, but he badly got dashed by a security guard. Fury was standing right behind him, but he didn’t really take the matter into his own hands to control the tussle.

As a result, the interim WBC heavyweight champ, Dillian Whyte, addressed the entire scenario and launched verbal attacks on Fury.

Saunders‘ family members and other teammates jumped in between, and this ignited the brawl. After a while, the tussle became so big that several other security guards had to come to cool the matter down.

Tyson Fury fires back at Dillian Whyte

He took it to his official Twitter handle and wrote, “@DillianWhyte ‘The Can Man’ More like ‘The Can Get Knocked Out By A 41 Year Old Man’ #BUM”

‘The Gypsy King’ took a dig at Whyte’s defeat to Alexander Povetkin in 2020.
