Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are the two biggest names in world boxing today. The British heavyweight pair has allured countless fans with their knockout finishes and overall boxing prowess, and that’s what makes them stand apart. Moreover, the duo is far from hanging their gloves, and the budding generation has a lot to learn from them.

But recently, the two were accused of playing politics in boxing. Dennis Hobson, who’s one of the emerging promoters in the UK, took a dig at both Joshua and Fury.

Speaking to SecondsOut, he said, “Well, you’ve got Anthony Joshua and you’ve got Tyson Fury. They’re playing politics. The next group of fighters, guess who’s in it. For me, Kash Ali, he’s in that mix. Tell me you would do it. Do a number on Kash. I can’t tell you, and the great thing is Kash is with us.”

Hobson didn’t reveal a concrete reason as to why he accused Joshua and Fury of playing politics. But, in his above interview, he’s clearly boasting about how good a fighter Kash Ali is.

Ali is the IBF European heavyweight champ, and he’s looking to elevate his career by fighting the bigwigs of the division. He defended his title against Roman Gorst a day ago, and with that, he gained some attention around himself.
