Tyron Woodley will go down as one of the most vicious welterweight champions of all time when the final story is written. However, Woodley lost his spark in the last days of his UFC tenure and ended up losing four times in a row before bidding farewell to the MMA community. His professional boxing debut against Jake Paul was also a failure and a major setback in the 5x UFC champion’s career.
Woodley will now rematch Paul on December 18 and isn’t shying from letting the fans know about what went wrong in his game plan. He seems confident about beating ‘The Problem Child’ this time and has claimed to have fixed some flaws in his game plan throughout his career. Well, he is working on them now and seems stoked to punish Jake Paul when the bell rings this weekend in Florida.

In a Showtime feature, Paul reflected on the issues and said, “It wasn’t too cocky to go back to the basics. Your hands need to lift up. You haven’t been turning your punches. And these are mistakes that I made for 16-17 years of fighting at a very high level and we really went over the small things and we built the base and now it’s like. It’s the best decision I ever made.”

Woodley saw some successful moments in his first scrap against Jake Paul. He battered ‘The Problem Child’ and almost stopped him in the fourth round. However, the bout lasted for all eight rounds in which Woodley came across some massive punishment. Following that, he lost the fight via decision. But will he bounce back this weekend.
