Former UFC champion Tyron Woodley has been out of form in combat sports for the past few years. He is currently on a losing streak that goes both into the MMA and the boxing chains. Following a failed boxing debut against Jake Paul in August, ‘T-Wood’ will re-match ‘The Problem Child’ on December 18 in a high-voltage clash.
While Paul is currently undefeated as a boxer, it’s clear that the stakes are low on Tyron Woodley’s side. Several people demeaned Woodley after he lost the first fight against Paul. The former champion is under scrutiny ahead of the re-match. Woodley is well aware of that and claims to be enjoying all the pressure.

When Ariel Helwani asked him about facing all the heat, Woodley replied, “I like it tho, I need it. I needed this question. I needed this pressure. He is fighting for a different s*** that I am fighting for. And I don’t know him that personally to even know what he is fighting for. But I can tell you it’s different and his reason is as strong as mine.”
“He is gonna make adjustments. I know, he is gonna be a little bit sharper and I am definitely gonna be f*** sharper.”

Tyron Woodley undoubtedly offered the toughest test to Jake Paul in their maiden collision. He almost stopped Paul in round four, displaying his vicious, striking skills. While it didn’t fetch Tyron Woodley the desired win, we may see him clear every doubt in the re-match. Woodley had been demanding the rematch ever since the first fight. As he has finally received his share, a win over Paul will put back Woodley’s career on the right track.
Tyron Woodley vs Jake Paul is a must-win for both men
With stakes high on both sides, Woodley vs Paul might have a big impact on both men’s careers. Jake Paul is at an early stage in his boxing ride and shall not lose to a non-professional pugilist. As it rumored him to be facing Tommy Fury in the first place, the rematch against Woodley will be his ticket to bag better matchups. On winning the show, Paul will set a record of 5-0 and can rightly call out his next target.

Meanwhile, Woodley has hinted at his interest in continuing to box even after the Paul showdown. It can happen only if Woodley beats Jake Paul this weekend. Thus, the intriguing collision can see Paul and Woodley offer their best. On the gross, the winner will gain a lot of fame and glory, whereas the loser will have a lot to pounder on the loss suffered.
