Terence Crawford continued to prove why he is regarded as arguably the greatest boxer of all-time in the modern era. The pound-for-pound best continued his emphatic win streak as he defended his WBO welterweight title against Kell Brook.

In the process, Crawford maintained his knockout-win ratio with his twenty-eighth stoppage win in 37 professional bouts. ‘Bud’ started slow and took his time before unleashing on the former champion. Crawford’s monstrous right hand left him wobbling on his feet. ‘Bud’ sensed the end as he continued to unload beautiful combinations before earning the first call from the referee.

Crawford sealed the deal in a matter of seconds, as he stopped Kell Brook in the fourth round to defend his welterweight gold.

While many expected a Crawford win, not many would have predicted the fashion in which he got it done. Meanwhile, Brook suffered a third loss in his professional career. H previously suffered defeats to Gennady Golovkin and Errol Spence Jr.

A potential unification title bout against IBF and WBC welterweight kingpin Errol Spence Jr. could be on the cards.

The undefeated welterweight champion is scheduled to take on Danny Garcia early next month inside the AT&T stadium in Texas. ‘The Truth’ is the favorite, and he will look to extend his winning streak against the rising contender.

However, there is a chance that Crawford could also take on WBA (super) welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao. ‘PacMan’ is looking to return sometime in 2021. It is an exciting match-up that promises to be a barn-burner. Additionally, Crawford will look to further cement his legacy as pound-for-pound best with a win over the legendary Manny Pacquiao.
