Former world heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson, surely knows how to make a grand entrance. However, a recently resurfaced video of his walkout from 1999 caught the eye of fans. In fact, it was the presence of a particular individual that intrigued fans.

Tyson faced Francois Botha at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Paradise, Nevada on January 16, 1999. The former champ showcased a stellar performance and won the bout via a 5th-round-TKO.

It is worth noting that this was Tyson’s first fight after his controversial bout against Evander Holyfield in 1997.

But Tyson’s spectacular walkout before the battle set the fight apart. He walked out clad in black with ‘Intro – It’s Dark And Hell Is Hot’ by DMX playing in the back.

Fans, on the other hand, were quick to notice businessman and former US president Donald Trump in the video. Trump was seen extending support to the champ while also patting him on the shoulder.

Fans were excited to see the resurfaced Mike Tyson walkout video. Moreover, boxing fans were also intrigued by the choice of music and the presence of the former US president.

User @iAm_Abdou was quick to point out that Trump looked like a true ‘fanboy’ in the video.

Similarly, user @MufasaSmacks was quick to remind people that Trump was a well-loved individual prior to the days of his presidency. And that he was regularly in attendance and boxing and WWE matches.

A few users were taken aback after DMX’s song was referred to as ‘scary imposing music’. The users even called out the commentator for making such a reference.

A lot of users were also excited about the choice of music for Tyson’s entrance. In fact, user @PJ_MMA even stated that Tyson and DMX make a formidable combo.

Meanwhile, user @sheikhyssj hilariously mentioned that if he was Tyson’s opponent, he would run for his life as soon as he saw the walkout. He even went on to call him a ‘wrecking ball’.

User @Mr_Solomons79 also chimed in agreement by mentioning that a prime Tyson was one of the scariest individuals at that time.
