Tyson Fury is undoubtedly one of the finest heavyweight boxers of our time. He has floored some of the best boxers in the world. However, some circle of fans believes that his upcoming opponent is not up to the caliber of Fury and that he should have sought out a more formidable opponent. The same topic was explored by British podcaster True Geordie, who questioned Fury about his opponent. Then, in response to the podcaster’s query, the British boxer lost his cool. Eddie Hearn offers a reality check to Tyson Fury 

The Matchroom Boxing chairman is among the top boxing promoters in the world. Although he is a promoter, he is as popular as any other famous boxer. He was recently in conversation with iDBoxing, where he was asked about Fury’s debacle with True Geordie.

Hearn started his answer with a slight smirk and said, “Tyson doesn’t really like to be pressed on a lot of things. I thought True Geordie was asking a lot of questions that the fans would want to ask. I mean, look, you sometimes ask me questions that I don’t really want to answer, but it’s my job. But it’s not really Tyson’s job as much, I guess it is in a way. But I don’t know. He doesn’t really like it when he’s quizzed on certain things. But I didn’t think it was that personal or anything. The questions or what True Geordie was doing, but Tyson obviously didn’t like it.”

Many boxing enthusiasts share the same opinion as Hearn. The job of a journalist or interviewer is to seek the responses that the audience wants to hear. Not to mention that Hearn is Fury’s prospective opponent Derek Chisora’s promoter. The latter will square off against Fury in a trilogy bout on December 3 at London’s Tottenham Stadium.
