Award-winning film actor Trevante Rhodes is set to play the legendary boxer, Mike Tyson, in his upcoming biopic ‘Mike’ releasing 25th August on streaming service Hulu. The fans recently got a sneak peek at the limited series after the official trailer was launched a few days back.

Moreover, the fans were quick to react to the trailer, particularly to Rhodes as we got a first look at him playing The Baddest Man On The Planet.

Entrepreneur and author Justin Tinsley claimed that he thought Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx was going to play Tyson, however, he stated that Rhodes will also nail the role. He wrote, “For years I thought Jamie Foxx was gonna play Mike Tyson. But Trevante Rhodes is about to body the role. Wow.”

Another fan commented on Rhodes’ impressive transformation for the role and stated he looked ‘fine’. She wrote, “Trevante Rhodes is ridiculously fine.”

Lastly, one fan praised Rhodes for his impressive transformation to play the role and stated he got ‘swole’. He wrote, “Holy f**k Trevante Rhodes is swole!! he put on hella muscle for that Mike Tyson role.”

It seems that fans are excited to see Rhodes, who is an acclaimed actor with roles in award-winning movies like Moonlight in a new avatar as the iconic heavyweight boxer.

Although Tyson has stated that this series was made without his permission, and is working on a biopic of his own. This series could give us some insight into the iconic life of Iron Mike.
