No, Jutta Leerdam is not the Wonder Woman. But maybe she can be. After all, she enjoyed the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul event up close in Arlington this past Friday. Now, she has crossed the Pacific and is already showcasing her speed skating skills on the ice in Japan. How is she doing it all?
Leerdam was present at her boyfriend Jake Paul’s monumental fight in Texas, as she had traveled 4907 miles from her residence in Naaldwijk to Dallas. What’s more? The fans witnessed her making a touchdown at Nagano from Dallas, having traveled 6457 miles for a speed skating event to bolster her chances for the coming ISU world championship in March. That’s a total distance of 11,364 miles in a span of a couple of days.
The Dutch speed skater turned to her Instagram handle and shared a story of her exhibiting her maneuvers. She wrote in the caption, “It was a little weird not skating after a week of no ice haha.” This prompted many fans to pop a question. They wondered whether Leerdam was tired of juggling between her events, traveling to meet her boyfriend, and even attending his fights. She responded to all in the next story, as she admitted, “To all the people asking if I’m not tired? I am.”

What’s more? The 25-year-old revealed low expectations from her current Asia trip. Notably, she will participate in the coming International Skating Union (ISU) World Cup event in Nagano from November 22 to November 24. She would then participate in another ISU World Cup event in Beijing from November 29 to December 1. While she didn’t have much expectation from the coming run of events, she still wanted to “feel good” to prepare for the coming ISU World Championship.
Leerdam continued in the story, “Not expecting a lot for this Asia trip tbh, but I still want to skate as good as possible as i can here.” Lastly, the Olympic silver medalist also hoped to muster some points and explained her focus was on the world title next. She added, “Also to get some racing ritm & to get some World Cup points. Focus is still on World Championships in March.”
Fans have already seen her win 500m and 1000m events at WCKT (World Cup Qualifying Tournament) Thialf Ice Arena in Heerenveen this November, and she will look to build on this success. However, the speed skater is also proud of the work ‘Problem Child’ has put in, especially with the win over a former world champion in Tyson.

Jutta Leerdam sends a heartfelt message for Jake Paul
Leerdam doesn’t shy away from expressing her love for Paul, as she took to her Instagram handle and lauded the latter for his tremendous success with the event. She pointed out how Tyson vs. Paul had sold out the AT&T stadium, crashed Netflix, and called it bigger than the Super Bowl. She penned, “You keep showing me and the world that dreaming big and manifestation works @jakepaul I’m so proud of you. You inspire me and so many people out there to think big and if you work hard and believe in it then you can make it happen.”

With her wins at WCKT, she has reserved her slot to compete at all the coming ISU World Cup events, where every point scored will determine the rankings. It eventually will determine who competes at the next ISU World Championship in March. It remains to be seen how these events will pan out for her. But she already has a positive start to the season.
