Jake Paul has a lot on the line before he steps up to re-match Tyron Woodley on December 18 in Miami. Apart from his undefeated record, a potential fight against Tommy Fury for the future is also at stake. Besides, Woodley has been the toughest test of Paul’s career when the two locked horns on August 29.

Hence, ‘The Problem Child’ can not afford to generate any mistake this time. He had a successful camp and his team appeared to be crafting their game plan tactically. Paul’s trainer BJ Flores is also suggesting his prodigy to do what Andre Ward did against Arthur Abraham back in 2011.

Amid a long list of legendary fights, Flores picked Ward vs Abraham to inspire Paul’s game plan for this camp. No wonder BJ Flores has sufficient reasons to justify that.

In a Showtime feature, Flores played the Ward vs Abraham on his television and told, “This fight we got Andre Ward vs Arthur Abraham. It was the second round of the super six after Andre Ward beat Mikkel Kessler. I like for Jake to see, you know what Andre did really to make this look so easy. It was a very tough fight. But Andre made it look easy.”

Ward vs Abraham was a semi-final matchup for the World Superseries six, which Andre Ward won via unanimous decision. ‘S.O.G’ didn’t rush for a brutal knockout and looked technical throughout. Moving well all across the ring, Ward went into a full-length fight and earned a comfortable decision on the scorecards. If that’s what BJ Flores is asking Jake Paul to do, then there are some changes in opinions from what Paul’s girlfriend Julia Rose envisioned the outcome to be.

Can Jake Paul knockout Tyron Woodley?

If sampled Ward vs Abraham, we can see Jake Paul offer a technical fight, but a lot of it would depend on how Tyron Woodley reacts in-ring. Woodley is a violent striker and a fierce KO artist. Hence, he can come out and brawl with ‘The Problem Child’. Meanwhile, Julia Rose Paul expects to see her partner stop Tyron Woodley, and that’s what she predicted while speaking in the same feature.

All these factors set up an intriguing fight this weekend. Apart from the main-event, the co-main will also feature an interesting scrap between Amanda Serrano and Miriam Gutierrez. Thus, the nearing Showtime event holds a lot of importance for the boxing fraternity, especially for Woodley and Paul. And no fight fan shall miss it.
