Is Jake Paul biting off more than he can chew with Francis Ngannou?

Jake Paul is not scared of facing Mike Tyson on November 15th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, even though Tyson’s own student, Francis Ngannaou, has now warned Paul about the fight. You see, the thing is, ‘The Problem Child’ hosted the launch press conference for fellow PFL stars Ngannou and Renan Ferreira recently.

He appeared visibly uncomfortable in between them as the heavyweight duo got a little too close for comfort during the presser. However, now it appears, that wasn’t the only way Ngannou tried to intimidate the former Disney star. ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson helped train ‘The Predator’ during his fight against former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury last year. As a result, Ngannou has nothing but gratitude for his mentor.

While the former UFC heavyweight champion ended up losing the bout via a close split decision, he did almost come close to causing an upset. Regardless, ‘El Gallo’ hopped on X today to share a chilling warning he received from Ngannou. “Francis Ngannou told me to my face that Mike Tyson is going to knock me out,” Paul wrote.

However, having defeated numerous UFC legends since he started his professional boxing career, this warning seems to have failed to intimidate the 27-year-old Cleveland-born influencer. In response to Ngannou’s warning, Paul boldly retorted in kind, noting, “Let’s see big man, let’s see. You got your own ‘Problems’ ahead,” a clear reference to Ngannou’s next opponent, who is nicknamed—”Problema” or ‘Problem’ in English.

Francis Ngannou is slated to lock horns with PFL heavyweight champion Renan Ferreira in Riyadh at the state-of-the-art Mayadeen arena for a fight dubbed ‘Battle of the Giants: Brace for Impact’ on October 19th. Regardless, Ngannou is obviously cheering for Mike Tyson to beat Paul. ‘The Problem Child,’ on the other hand, feels Ngannou could beat Jon Jones.

Jake Paul is ramping up his criticism of UFC CEO Dana White, suggesting White is “scared” to book a fight between former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou and current UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones. “I think he doesn’t want to lose his horse in Jon Jones. Francis is one of the baddest, if not the baddest man on the planet.” Paul also praised Ngannou’s upcoming opponent, Renan Ferreira, noting that an upset victory would make Ferreira the “greatest heavyweight in MMA.” Despite White’s claim that Ngannou left the UFC to avoid a fight with Jones, Ngannou has stated he was pushing for the bout.
