Tyson Fury’s half brother and Love Island star, Tommy Fury, made a bold claim about Tyson’s potential matchup against Anthony Joshua. The 3-0 light-heavyweight expressed his opinion on how that fight would go down.

Speaking to ‘The Queensberry Lockdown’ on YouTube, Tommy gave his brutally honest take on how ‘The Gypsy King’ would dispatch Joshua.

When asked if Tyson would win that potential fight, Tommy replied with, “I think definitely. For me I’ve always said it, that’s going to be Tyson’s easiest fight.”

These are very bold claims regarding Anthony Joshua, whose rise to the top has been exponential. Joshua has beaten big names to get to the top, including Wladimir Klitschko. This makes the statements from Tommy Fury a little surprising.

Tommy also explained why Tyson will easily win the fight. He said:

“It depends on how Tyson wants to box. We all know he can box one of two ways now, or every way. He can box how he did against Wilder, putting the pressure on, going forward, or he can box on the back foot.”

He said, “I’ve always envisioned that fight like Tyson–Derek Chisora II. Just getting played with. Tyson’s on the outside, literally playing with him like a cat on the piece of string.”

Tyson Fury beat Derek Chisora with relative ease. And it would be a very big statement if he dispatched Joshua in the same way.

Tommy Fury also talked about Tyson’s development as a fighter. He said:

“Tyson’s looking like a wrecking ball now. Under Sugar as well, his physique has changed, he’s much more powerful, he’s much more stronger.

“So, I think if he walked to Joshua, I think you’d have Joshua out there in a matter of 5-6 rounds.”  Tommy then said that this is just his opinion from what he has seen of Tyson.
