Tommy Fury Lashes Out at Sidemen Member for Recent Remarks: “Keep My Child’s Name Outta Your Mouth”

Tommy Fury is loudly protective of his newborn daughter. To back this fact, the Love Island prospect came down heavily at his former opponent’s close mate as the latter roped in the toddler’s name.

Last year, in October, the British cruiserweight tested his boxing acumen against rapper-turned-boxer, KSI. At the Manchester clash, in a splendid display of his prowess, Fury retained control of the fight from the beginning. His opponent, the 30-year-old, Londoner, struggled and lost to Fury on points. However, the highlight of this confrontation was not their fight but their off-ring hostility, which continues to date. In the wake of it, the world continues to witness the rampant beef. Joining this bandwagon is KSI’s YouTuber-teammate, Simon Minter, or, as he is known online, Miniminter.

Let’s keep the child out of this…

Post his loss to ‘TNT’, KSI went ahead and appealed the result. However, those results too did not favor him. Still scorned from the brutal loss, ‘JJ’ and his pals have left no opportunity to iterate their belief that the rapper won the bout and not Fury. On the latest episode of What’s Good Podcast with Randolph, Miniminter, a bonafide member of KSI’s YouTube group, Sidemen continued to chime in on the beef.

Shading the 10-4, pro-boxer, Miniminter noted, “It’s just weird seeing Tommy Fury, this pro boxer.” Continuing, he also doubled down on the narrative KSI has been putting out. “Obviously everyone who was like, ‘Oh, I know boxing,’ they said, ‘Tommy’s gonna win and it’s not even gonna be close…To it being that close, and Tommy then saying he’s done with influencer boxing.” He then mentioned Fury’s newborn daughter while calling him an “L”, saying, “The guy’s an L, his kid’s called Bambi.”

Not offended by most of what Simon said, but the part where he roped in his daughter, 24-year-old Fury on his Instagram stories sent a direct warning toward the influencer. In the video, he said, “Simon from the Sidemen. Say whatever you want about your mate KSI who lost, but don’t ever mention my daughter’s name again or me and you are gonna have a problem. Keep my child’s name out of your mouth.” Michael Benson screengrabbed and posted the video on his X.

The young Fury’s daughter, Bambi, was born on January 23, 2023, to him and his fiancee, Molly-Mae Hague. The two got engaged last year in July. The couple began dating in 2019. Marking his first child’s birth, on social media, he posted a picture of her. He wrote, “Daddy’s little girl. Forever.”

On the other hand, Miniminter, 31 years old, is a well-known member of the Sidemen and a very close friend of KSI, who has on multiple occasions, defended the fighter in public appearances. Interestingly, the two hated each other, until they came against each other at the age of 12-13 years. Their physical fight in the classroom was interrupted by their teachers, who forced them into a friendship. Since then, both of them have remained close friends.

On the sports end, it is unlikely that KSI and Tommy Fury will have a rematch. Especially, given how scorned Fury’s father, John Fury is at the rapper/YouTuber. Previously, he had outrightly denied any inklings of a rematch and quite possibly still does.
