On March 30th, after a bloodbath inside the ring, Sebastian Fundora defeated Tim Tszyu via SD to win the WBO and WBC Super-Welterweight titles. Although the signed contract did not include a rematch clause, Fundora’s Sampson Lewkowicz verbally promised Tim Tszyu a rematch. “My word is always equal to a signed contract. Tim Tszyu, your rematch is ready when you are,” he had said.
However, the WBO soon pointed out that Fundora vs. Tszyu would be approved on the condition that the winner would face the mandatory challenger at 154 lbs within 180 days of the fight. As a result, in a letter, the WBO ordered Sebastian Fundora and Terence Crawford to begin negotiations for the WBO Mandatory Jr. Middleweight Championship.
Meanwhile, Errol Spence Jr. had called out Sebastian Fundora after ‘The Towering Inferno’ had beaten the “big dog” Tim Tszyu. In his reply to ‘The Truth,’ Fundora, on the other hand, said he could fight Spence Jr. and get a “win off him“. At this, promoter Eddie Hearn argued that since Crawford was not with the PBC, Spence Jr. was likely to fight Fundora. However, Fundora vs. Tszyu 2 is now being targeted for the end of this year.

In the fight on March 30th, while Tim Tszyu suffered a nasty head gash due to an accidental elbow by Sebastian Fundora, the latter had a fractured nose. As a result, the Nevada State Athletic Commission soon suspended Tszyu and Fundora for six weeks. But, Fundora’s manager Lewkowicz revealed that ‘The Towering Inferno’ would not return “until at least November“.
On that note, Sebastian Fundora vs. Tim Tszyu II is now reportedly being targeted for November in Las Vegas. But, why not in Tim Tszyu’s country Australia? Well, on the Raw Sports Podcast, Sampson Lewkowicz said he did not feel safe in Australia. “I am too old to be mistreated in my country, my home. I’m not going to his [Tim’s] country. I can only imagine how they would be to me,” said Sampson. Anyway, fans are excited to see Tszyu avenge his loss.
Fans believe Tim Tszyu will “slaughter” Sebastian Fundora

Although I like fundora a lot I got Tim by ko it’s clear to me bro isn’t the same fighter anymore but the cut and the win overshadowed that

According to one fan, Tszyu landed effective punches on Fundora on March 30th “before that cut opened up.” In their opinion, Fundora shall maintain his distance “and work the jab.” However, they feel Tszyu will snap Fundora’s “head back for the win” in the rematch.
Tzyu was having alot of success landing clean effective punches before that cut opened up. If Fundora learned anything from that fight he’s to keep his distance and work the jab. Either way it plays out I still think Tzyu gets inside and snaps Fundora head back for the win
