Three Action Icons, One Epic Picture: Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Jason Statham’s Explosive Gun Showdown Takes the Internet by Storm

Everyone loves watching their favorite actors hanging out with each other. It is nice for the audience to see their favorite action heroes being pals outside of the movie sets. Well, this is what exactly took place as an old photo, from 2018, of three iconic action actors has resurfaced on the internet and the fans are loving it.

A picture of the famous action trio of the film franchise, ‘The Expendables’, has been doing the rounds on the internet, and they’re all dressed in cowboy attire. Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Jason Statham met for the first time in 2010 for the shooting of the first ‘The Expendables’ movie. And still to this day, everybody loves the idea of these three sharing a screen. Similarly, one other photo of Sylvester Stallone with his co-star in ‘Rocky’ has surfaced again on the internet.

‘The Expendables’ has had three films in four years, one in 2010, then in 2012, and 2014. The trio was seen here and there after the last movie, all three action stars were seen together at the house of Arnold Schwarzenegger.

So, the other two men joined Arnie for supporting his fundraiser for his Inner-City Games charity. In the photo, as it can be seen, the three actors are dressed as cowboys, as they were playing characters in the skit held at Schwarzenegger’s house. That also explains the gun in the hands of three of them.

Well, this won’t be the last time, the trio would be seen together.  They are said to be working on the fourth movie of the franchise. And ‘The Expendables 4’ will probably hit the theatres by later this year.

Sylvester Stallone’s for the fourth ‘The Expendables’ film

The screenplays of the last three films were written by Sylvester Stallone himself and were inspired by the characters made by David Callaham for the comics by the same name.

But the fourth film will not see the narration of ‘Sly’ Stallone as it’s been written by a different group of writers. And it has also been stated by Stallone that the fourth film will be the last time he would be reprising the role of Barney Ross.

The production rights of the fourth film have been passed on to the other member of the trio, Jason Statham.
