“This Won’t End Well for Him”: Floyd Mayweather & Gervonta Davis’ Embarrassing Picture Draws Ire Towards Ryan Garcia

Former WBC interim lightweight, Ryan Garcia, has been on a glory trail after his victory against Javier Fortuna in July. Meanwhile, there have been talks about a potential fight between Garcia and Gervonta Davis. Garcia recently took to social media to take a sly jab at Davis.

‘KingRy‘ became one of the top contenders for the lightweight throne, after defeating Fortuna at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. Davis on the other hand, scored a sensational knockout win against Rolando Romera at the Barclays Center, New York City, New York.

Moreover, in victory, he retained his WBA (Regular) lightweight title. The two fighters have been hinting at a potential fight for a very long time. The young fighters have also been having a brutal Twitter beef. Garcia even went on to call Davis out. He said, “Isn’t it funny you only went up in weight at 140 to fight Mario. But with me you didn’t, shows that you are not that confident and looking for any edge.”

And, in a turn of events, Garcia even went on to post a picture of Davis and his promoter, Floyd Mayweather, on Instagram. The hysterical image showed Mayweather teaching Davis how to ride a bike. In a way, it can be speculated that Garcia wanted to show Davis as a ‘kid’  protected under Mayweather’s shadow.

It looks like this brutal beef might most likely pave the way for a sensational showdown soon.

Boxing fans react to Ryan Garcia calling out Gervonta Davis

A lot of fans were intrigued by Garcia’s choice of imagery. In fact, many fans took to social media to share their thoughts.

User @kisuvior did not mince words while mentioning that Garcia is scared of Davis.

Similarly, a few fans were also quick to mention that Garcia would have a hard time beating Davis. Moreover, user @bennyboy12788 was sure that ‘Tank’ would wreck Garcia.

Meanwhile, a few users felt that Garcia’s words were true. In fact, user @kingbrandon1812, even mentioned that Davis was a protected fighter who only fought opponents who are not skilled enough.

In the same vein, user @GHxstt_ also stated that both Garcia and Davis will continue fighting unskilled opponents. User @RossSlade92 on the other hand felt that the duo will only fight on social media. And not inside the ring.

But, user @Chewy9991 was not confident about the duo’s claim of fighting in December. In fact, the user was certain that they will not fight in 2022.

Another user @Dedeinnit felt that Garcia was asking for trouble by posting that picture.

However, one of the funniest responses came from user @DamColOG. The user went on to troll Garcia for over-dramatizing the scenario. And even went on to refer to him as the ‘Jake Paul of Actual boxers’.
