On January 22, 1988, Mike Tyson successfully defended his three titles, WBA, WBC, and IBF, collectively for a second time against Lary Holmes. A month later, he married model and actress Robin Givens. Unfortunately, their marriage didn’t last long and ended in a nasty divorce in October 1989. The pair, after staying married for only seven months, had an unprecedented interview with a trailblazing and pioneering newswoman. In the interview, they discussed their marital problems at length.

She became well-known for her skillful and engaging interviewing style. The eminent journalist was active right from when her career began in 1951 until her retirement in 2015. Sadly she passed away yesterday at her home aged 93.
