Mikaela Mayer is all set to fight Silvia Bortot on the 2nd of September in the undercard of the Liam Smith-Chris Eubank Jr. rematch. The Manchester fight will be at catchweight between 140 and 147 pounds. In her previous fight, the boxer moved up from junior lightweight to lightweight. In a video that emerged on social media, Mayer can be seen engaging with a young fan. A smile on the fan’s face, and innocence in his eyes, it was true bliss for him to meet his idol. If this is not a classic example of ruling the hearts of the folk, then what is?

A user rejoiced at the class act shown by the fighter. The fan added another layer to this conversation by referring to Alycia Baumgardner. The latter has recently tested positive on a drug test. Earlier in the year, both the fighters got into an intense exchange of words. Even then, Mayer did not take any new digs at the rival. Instead, she said that felt sorry for Alycia.
