However, the two have sported one item that has stood the test of time. The Cartier Tank probably has been one of the most sought-after watches. The watch has sported the same design since its launch in 1932. Moreover, it has been worn by the likes of Steve McQueen, Ali, West, and even Princess Diana. Although there are some differences in the design of every watch, the base leather strap and the timepiece have remained consistent since their inception.
Ali owned the JC version of the watch, named after Jean-Jacques Cartier. It was the second model of the watch, originally named LC after the founder. West, on the other hand, owns a Cartier Crash. The first run of this timepiece was made in limited numbers, with only 24 made between the late ‘60s and ‘80s. However, West owns a version from the first “mass” production of the Crash done in Paris in 1991 with around 400 pieces produced.

Adidas ends partnership with Kanye West amid his controversy
German sportswear giant Adidas recently announced that they were severing ties with West. This means the end of a nearly decade-long partnership between them. The company released an official statement revealing the end of its partnership. “After a thorough review, the company has taken the decision to terminate the partnership with Ye immediately. End production of Yeezy branded products and stop all payments to Ye and his companies.” Adidas said in an official statement.
This decision was made following ‘Ye’s’ recent controversial statements that made him a target of widespread condemnation by a number of Jewish rights groups.
