Hearn said, “The problem with Jake is that he’s now in a world where it’s like strike on sight world. Do you understand what I mean by that? If you say something to someone, that’s offensive or disrespectful in this world, there’s not it’s not a conversation, it’s a strike on sight?”
While the Matchroom supremo spoke about the recent exchange between ‘The Problem child’ and the former WBC cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew, he also reflected on Paul’s trash talk with ‘The Notorious’.
The 42-year-old added, “Jake said stuff about Conor, and when I’ve heard it…It’s a different world. This isn’t YouTube or Disney. Where you can get away with saying basically whatever you want, this is strike on-site world and there’ll be on conversations there’ll no mediations with the wrong person but that’s the game he’s playing. You know, and he’s pushed that game very hard with a lot of people and listen. It’s working for him.”
