The sport of boxing has seen some of the most sensational showdowns in the world of combat. While the fights in themselves are undoubtedly interesting. The drama that surrounds these fights has a fanbase of its own. And this is not limited to major matches either. In fact, a boxer was seen channeling his inner Caleb Plant while taunting his opponent after knocking him out during a sparring session.

A video, which has since gone viral, was shared by a Twitter page called Boxing Kingdom. It showed a sparring session between two boxers, one with blue gloves and another with black. The fighter with blue gloves quickly knocked out his opponent with a brutal right hook. Moreover, he went on to taunt his opponent, saying, “That’s what I do.”

This move was reminiscent of Plant taunting his opponent after a KO. Notably, Plant faced Anthony Dirrell at the Barclays Center in New York City on October 15, 2023. And sent Dirrell to the canvas in the ninth round. However, he proceeded to do the ‘dig a grave’ action directed at Dirrell, drawing the ire of the boxing fraternity and fans.

Fans react as the boxer disrespects his opponent

Social media users and fans were not too pleased to see the boxer disrespect his opponent. In fact, a lot of them took to the comments section to share their thoughts about the same.

A user was quick to point out that what the boxer did was straight-up disrespectful.

Meanwhile, a few fans called him out for going all out on his sparring partner. Moreover, they mentioned that most sparring partners only fight at 60% strength.
