‘The Gypsy King’s’ fans might have a reason to worry. Clips of the security leading Tyson Fury out of the bar in an inebriated state, and the subsequent falling on all fours outside have gained considerable views. The incident reportedly happened at a Morecambe property. Given the Mancunian’s big rematch with Oleksandr Usyk coming up in December, fans have every reason to be concerned.
The once-in-a-lifetime show at Riyadh’s Kingdom Arena last month saw him exchange jabs with ‘The Cat’. Just when it appeared that he had the match within his grasp, the crafty Ukrainian Olympic gold medalist snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. Though unhappy with his first career loss, ‘The Gypsy King’ didn’t lose time in invoking the rematch clause. Most die-hard fans expect him to bounce back. But incidents such as these might prove a dampener to the journey to reclaim the lost crown.
Shedding light on the incident, Happy Punch wrote on its X Twitter handle, “Tyson Fury got escorted out of a bar and face planted on the concrete this weekend.” The nearly 20-second-long footage shows Fury, surrounded by the security staff. From the way he adjusted his trousers, finding it difficult to stand straight, it was easy to make out that he was inebriated.

The second sequence, taken from a distance, shows him on the ground. He could be seen trying hard to get up, only to fall face down once again. A good part of the video was muted, especially the one taken inside the bar. But the shots taken outside had some audio. However, except for a few utterances, it was largely vague.
Probably the episode resonates with the dark phase the boxing legend had been through, and it sounded the alarm among fans. He was at the peak of his career, and he inflicted a crushing defeat on the reigning champion, Wladimir Klitschko. But the subsequent phase saw him spiral mentally. He sought refuge in alcohol. Life became a meaningless pursuit, to the extent that he even considered ending it. However, from the nadir, like a true king, Tyson Fury resurrected himself and reclaimed the lost glory.
From Bar to Dark Days? Alarm Bells for Fury Fans
Most fans appeared anxious after coming across the clips. Who would want to see their icon in such a state? But then such happenings prove a blessing to many naysayers as well. Let’s check out what some of the users said after going through the report.
Clearly upset, this fan didn’t want Tyson Fury to lose focus and find himself on a slippery slope.

Echoing similar sentiments, the next user, unhappy at the turn of events, feared whether the former heavyweight champion would slide back into an abyss before he found a way back to boxing glory.
This is sad man, knowing the place he was at before getting back to boxing

Feeling miserable, this user also highlighted the kind of problem Fury faced long ago. They just don’t want to see him hit rock bottom once again.
This is really sad to see considering the problems he’s had in the past. I hope he’s not going down a dark road again.

This boxing enthusiast expressed hope that maybe Tyson Fury was just having a good time. Wishing that he was fine, they expected ‘The Gypsy King’ to snatch his championship belts from Usyk.
Hope fury is just having a wild night out blowing off some steam and he’s OK and getting ready to take his belt back 💪

But then a user did manage to find humor amidst all the melee. To them, Tyson Fury’s fall resembled the much-memed Devin Haney face-plant that happened during the fight with Ryan Garcia.

Tyson Fury and Oleksandr will meet again on December 21. While during the last fight, the slick Ukrainian’s footwork won the day for him, there’s no denying that the Mancunian’s body shots managed to push Usyk back for quite a few rounds. So if he’s able to work on those areas that will put a check on ‘The Cat’s advance, he can definitely stage an upset and claim a historic win.
