Boxing sensation Gervonta Davis is one of the biggest names in boxing today. The 28-year-old is usually in the news due to his boxing matches or occasionally due to his personal life. Owing to his fight with Hector Luis Garcia in January 2023, he has recently been the talk of the town. The boxer, however, has generated controversy online ahead of his battle after being recently arrested by the authorities.

Numerous sporting entities and fans have been discussing Davis since his arrest. Ivan Redkach, who is scheduled to fight Adrien Broner in February, said something about Davis in the midst of all that is becoming viral online.
Redkach wrote on Twitter, “It’s very sad that a man is relapsed. I will never again agree to spar with a man who raises his hand to a woman. This is below my dignity.”
Davis and Ukrainian boxer Redkach have been sparring partners for quite some time. There are also videos of Redkach and Davis sparring online. However, in light of the most recent incidents, the Ukrainian boxer has made the decision to never again spar with Davis.

Tank Davis is well known for his devastating blows that knock his opponents to the ground due to his incredible punching power. He punched someone in the face recently, but it wasn’t in a boxing ring.
According to reports, Davis was recently arrested for domestic violence and spent several hours in jail. It has been revealed that he struck a woman in the face, causing internal damage to her upper lip. The incident happened in Parkland, Florida. Redkach made it clear in his tweet that he doesn’t want to spar with someone who assaults women.

Gervonta Davis gets bail after a domestic violence allegation
Davis was taken into detention for several hours before being released on bail. He was freed for a $1000 bail bond. Authorities learned about the event after the woman called 911 and pleaded for help, alleging there was a baby in the car and that her life was in danger.

Following his release, Davis posted on Instagram that the allegations against him were untrue. He said he never even touched either the child’s mother or his daughter. “I’m not a monster,” he said.
He claimed that others are attempting to trick him into paying them. But there is now no indication as to whether he is telling the truth or not. Only time will reveal it.
