YouTube sensation Jake Paul has finally found an opponent to face after his fiasco with Tommy Fury and Hasim Rahman Jr. He will now take on MMA legend and former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva on October 29th in Phoenix, Arizona.
Moreover, this will be a step up in competition for ‘The Problem Child’ who will be eager to get back into the ring after almost a year-long layoff. Paul’s Most Valuable Promotion recently took to social media to announce the fight as they released the official poster on all their social media accounts.

However, the fans were not too thrilled about this matchup as they took to the comments to express their concerns about this fight.
Fans react to Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva
One fan stated that this fight was a ‘mockery’ of boxing with two non-boxers competing. “What an absolute joke making a mockery of such a beautiful sport,” He wrote. Another fan claimed that this was a rigged fight and insinuated Silva was paid to lose. “Why does everybody think Spider can win? This is a fixed fight. Lol. He already got paid before this even start.” he wrote. Moreover, another fan also claimed that if Paul would win, it meant that the fight was surely fixed. “Fair or not. If Paul wins, I will officially believe that all his fights are paid to win and rigged.” he wrote.

However, some fans believed that Sliva had more than a puncher’s chance to win this fight. One fan stated that Silva was the far more experienced striker and could easily knock out Paul. “Silva can box and he can put down this Youtuber into canvas,” he wrote. Another fan praised Silva, calling him a good boxer who would give the Ohio-based boxer his first loss. “Silva is a really good boxer, jakes first loss by a 50-year-old ufc fighter is gold.” he wrote
The fans had a mixed reaction to this announcement, however, many still believe that Silva has more than a fighting chance against Paul even at 47 years old. Although this might not be the best fight to make in boxing, it certainly looks to be an entertaining one.
