The Lightweight division is getting into action mode. On November 16, the battle for the vacant WBC title would be fought by former two-division champion Shakur Stevenson and Edwin De Los Santos. They square up because of Devin Haney‘s recent move to the Light Welterweight division to chase his dream of becoming the next two-division undisputed champion.
With barely a month left for the exciting match-up, the hype around the fight finally seems to be catching up. Launching a parting shot with expletives, Los Santos said that the ring is like a house for him and that on November 16, he has a surprise in store for Stevenson. But many fans didn’t buy his confident posturing and slammed him.

The following user emphasized that there’s something genuinely off with Edwin De Los Santos’s head. Expressing his full faith that Shakur Stevenson would be giving his best performance on fight night, the user questioned the Dominican boxer’s wisdom in making such comments.
This guy definitely has a screw loose. Where is he from? Shakur better be on point which I know he will.

This fan echoed almost similar emotions. Mocking Los Santos, he told the Dominican boxer to carry his backpack since Stevenson would give him a boxing masterclass on November 16.
My boy bring your backpack @ShakurStevenson going take you to school

But this next fan predicted that the judges would eventually declare Shakur Stevenson a winner by unanimous decision. Los Santos doesn’t stand a chance against him. However, the fans also stressed that the Newark, New Jersey-born Southpaw resembles his mentor, Terence Crawford, in fighting style but lacks strength. At least he does have the adequate power needed for the current division.
shakur is going to win by UD this guy will nt be able to touch him, shakur is like crawfor, but i think without power, shakur did not have power in divicion

On a serious note, the following user handed Edwin De Los Santos a few valuable tips on approaching Stevenson. Firstly, he recommended the Dominican boxer avoid a frontal fight with the American Southpaw. Instead, focusing on the flanks and applying pressure with regular jabs would do him better. When he can move toward Stevenson’s left, he should immediately launch crosses using both hands. Notably, Los Santos shouldn’t remain standing and constantly move around, keeping ‘Sugar’ off balance.
My friend De Los Santos, if this msg reaches you, I advise you not to fight Shakur too much in front, use the sides a lot and constant jabs, when you turn to his left, return quickly with crosses with both hands, move a lot and frustrate him

Finally, Edwin De Los Santos found some support. This fan insisted that he would knock out Shakur Stevenson, thus disappointing scores of fans and followers. He also told everyone not to underestimate Los Santos since he is a true warrior.
I keep saying this .. Edwin gonna beat the shit outta Shakur and yall gonna be disappointed asf! Don’t sleep on this guy .. a real warrior!

Edwin De Los Santos has suffered a loss in his career. However, it should be noted that he has a penchant for knockouts.

Nearly 88% of his wins came through early stoppages. Hence, he remains a potent threat to the former Featherweight champion, who has won precisely half his bouts through knockouts. But then, it shouldn’t be forgotten that he is against one of the best defenders in the sport today. So, Los Santos will have to reach out and make a connection before making the next move.
As expected, Stevenson may tear up Los Santos round after round until the latter tires himself out to offer any defense. The highlight anticipated fight might open the doors of opportunity for the winner. He gets to go for other big names in the division, such as Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia.
