Tommy Fury beat KSI in a six-round match in Manchester on Saturday. He won by a majority decision. One judge called it a draw, but the other two gave Fury a 57-56 score. KSI disagreed with the outcome, even labeling it as a “robbery.” KSI thought he should have won. He used a simple strategy of throwing, looping overhands, and clinching a lot.

To support his claim, he pointed out that officials took a point away from Fury in the second round. Dillon Danis vs. Logan Paul wasn’t a great show either. Although Logan Paul won, the fight ended in a brawl, just like the controversies before the bout. Now, almost three days after the fight, British Promoter Frank Warren has expressed his opinion about the fight. His opinion throws light on the larger concern of such matches.

What did Frank Warren say about the recent Prime Card fights?

Frank Warren, the chief of Queensberry Promotions, in his criticism of the boxing match between KSI and Tommy Fury, labeled the match “poor as pi**.” He expressed his thoughts in an interview with IFLTV, stating that the standard of the match was very low. Frank said, “The standard of some of them was poor as pi**. But if they can make money out of it, good luck to them.”

Warren criticized the low quality of some of the modern fighters. He said that if they can earn money, then good for them. He mentioned that his hero was Muhammad Ali when he was young. He doesn’t understand why today’s youth look up to KSI as a hero. As Warren remarked, “When I was young, my hero was Muhammad Ali. These kids, their heroes, are KSI. I don’t get it.”

Not only Warren, but others from the boxing fraternity have also expressed their criticism of the fights.

How did Jake Paul mock KSI vs. Tommy Fury?

Recently, Jake Paul posted a video on his social media account mocking Tommy Fury vs. KSI. In the video, two people appear to be fighting but are actually just moving and jumping in place before hugging each other. The actual bout between Tommy Fury and KSI was met with disappointment from many spectators.

Not only Jake, but even Claressa Shields and Ryan Garcia have also censured the fight. According to ‘King Ry’, the fight was “trash.” Moreover, he also urged DAZN to never put up such a fight, as it is highly “embarrassing.”

In conclusion, the recent boxing matches have stirred up a mix of controversy and criticism, not just from fans but also from key figures in the boxing world. Frank Warren questions the quality and integrity of these bouts led by influencers, while other professional boxers like Claressa Shields and Ryan Garcia openly mock them.
