If you haven’t been following, it’s been a week for Ryan Garcia. Amidst tensions between Ryan Garcia and his promoter, Oscar De La Hoya, conversations are floating around about Garcia returning to the ring soon. In a now-deleted tweet, ‘The Flash KingRy’ sent out a challenge to Regis Prograis to fight him at 140. KingRy asked Regis’ promoter, Eddie Hearn, to meet with his team and draw out the details of the fight. However, Hearn has already taken an offer from Devin Haney’s team.
Coming back to his fallout with De La Hoya, Garcia was upset with his team, including his promotor company. He claimed that Golden Boy Promotions, run by De La Hoya, did not support him after his loss against Gervonta Davis. His team did not accompany the boxer to the post-fight press event. Stemming from this, KingRy said he would depart and form his team, Nudging De La Hoya to sue for breach of contract.
It’s been quite a chaotic week for Garcia. Despite the drama with Oscar De La Goya, he will be taking to the ring in the fall. The promoter himself tweeted that he has two exciting fights for the boxer at 140. Is it going to be with Prograis? Regardless of who it may be, the fight almost certainly seems to be on since Garcua has already started preparing for his October comeback. He joined the infamous trainer Derrick James earlier this year and now seems to be training hard to excel at this next bout, leaving the fans more than excited!

The Derrick James-Ryan Garcia combination might be it for ‘KingRy’
Ryan Garcia recently posted a video of him training hard under the guidance of his new trainer, Derrick James. The latter also trains big names like Errol Spence Jr., Anthony Joshua, and Jermell Charlo. Garcia, however, joined the clan very recently.
Amidst news of him entering the ring in the fall, Garcia seems to be pulling up his socks under Derrick! The video of them training has now garnered reactions from the fans, who are seemingly pointing out the improvements the young boxer has made in style.
P4P believes that some improvements to Garcia’s hand movements could go a long way.
Ryan can actually make some noise at 140 with DJ! Working on fundamentals and adding some different elements to his fast hands could be a nightmare for the division! 💪🏽💯🔥

Recognizing Garcia’s potential, Roger. said the fighter has a strong jab and asked him to invoke Hitman Hearns in his technique.
Thats better already, your jab is a power jab, use it as such, double, triple it, Your right should be as straight as Hitman Hearns, to body and head. You need skipping side to side just avoiding shot with movement .You have GREAT potential.

THE DUKE seems to not be over the fact that Garcia accepted defeat when it came to the knockdown he faced from Davis in his previous match. Will his fans consider a rebound for the boxer in the league of wins?
I still don’t get it.
Dude was hyped to be this boxer but yet he has the most casual habits ever.
I really wonder who he’s involved with to be relevant, there’s 0 special about this guy.
He took a knee when it mattered thats enough to turn away me as a fan. https://t.co/r415jt7epP— THE DUKE (@_nathanielmc) July 8, 2023
