The Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury showdown has been one of the most interesting matchups in the heavyweight division. And, this in turn paved the way for two more fights between the duo. Fans have since anticipated the future opponents for both fights. However, recent reports suggest that Wilder might face Fury for the fourth time.

Andy Ruiz Jr. faced Luis Ortiz at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, on September 4, 2022. He won the bout by decision. Meanwhile, Wilder is set to face Helenius at the Barclays Center in New York City on October 15, 2022.

The WBC president, Mauricio Sulaiman, announced that both Ruis Jr. vs Ortiz and Wilder vs Helenius are both ‘semi-final eliminators’.

And, the winner of the Helenius vs Wilder fight will go on to fight Ruiz Jr.

It was also revealed that the victor of that bout will further go on to face Fury. This prospect in turn intrigued Fury. In fact, he was sure who the victor will be.

Fury took to social media to announce that he will fight Wilder for the fourth time.

Fans were not too happy about Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury IV

Boxing fans were not too happy about the prospect of Deontay Wilder facing Tyson Fury again. Moreover, many fans took to social media to share their thoughts about the same.

A few users mentioned that none of the fans wanted to see Wilder fight Fury again. In fact, user @Big_R_Sole even mentioned that boxing as a sport has become boring. And, the user even mentioned that the fight is worth watching only if Ruiz or Helenius wins.

Similarly, user @abbeycite was also confused about what the WBC was trying to achieve with the match.

Meanwhile, a few users were surprised at the speed at which Wilder was getting his fights. And, user @covert_specter6 even stated that the WBC is trying to get Wilder killed.

On the other hand, user @1_JORDAN felt that the WBC is protecting Wilder and trying to make him a champion again.

Another set of fans mentioned that there is a chance of Wilder emerging as the victor. In fact, user @TheyLoveSoap stated that Wilder has a chance of ‘flatlining’ Fury as long as he does not fas out.

Anthony Joshua was also a topic of interest for fans. Many fans felt like he would be a good matchup for both Wilder and Fury.
