The ongoing turmoil between WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford and his promoter Bob Arum has already shaken the boxing community with several rumors.
Despite the fact that Crawford might not continue his journey with Top Rank, he has still not hinted at joining any other promotion. However, boxing pundits have placed ‘Bud’ in several possible situations and drafted a future for him.
Meanwhile, Crawford has been Top Rank’s prime prodigy for years, and putting him out might affect the promotion adversely. That said, Matchroom CEO Eddie Hearn has jumped into the mix to picture the current situation for the combat fans.

Although many may want Crawford and Bob Arum to settle their dispute, Hearn believes it’s ‘unsolvable’. He also compared the situation with Canelo Alvarez’s rigmarole with Golden Boy Promotions and believes Crawford vs Arum will head down the same path.
Eddie Hearn drafts Terence Crawford and Bob Arum’s problems
The Matchroom CEO joined AK & Barak show to discuss several things about boxing. His promotion has some big events ahead, but Hearn couldn’t afford to miss on Crawford and Arum’s issues.
Talking about it, he said, “Promoters and this is an adequate Top Rank because there are a lot of people out there like this. That relationship is gone. I think it’s unsolvable. So as men, what you should really be doing is finding each other out and saying, ‘listen I thought of a bad man in you, we’ve had a great run. Let’s just go our separate ways. Because that’s what I would be doing, to be honest with you.”

Hearn further dragged Canelo Alvarez into the tale. He also advised Terence Crawford and Bob Arum to part ways before the dispute gets more toxic.
He continued, “It’s a bit like Canelo with Oscar, you know, and Golden Boy. Sometimes it’s bad to part company and keep the respect, keep the dignity, keep the integrity and say ‘look we haven’t always seen eye to eye but this relationship is becoming too toxic and that’s where I think Top Rank and Crawford are right now. It’s gonna get worse and worse.”
After scrutinizing the whole situation, Hearn concluded, “I think the Top Rank relationship is over.”
