Amateur boxing has witnessed its fair share of thrilling encounters, but every now and then, a controversial stoppage leaves fans divided and engaged in spirited debates. Such was the case recently, as a highly disputed amateur boxing stoppage triggered a wave of discussions among fans.
In the second round of the fight with just 30 seconds remaining on the clock, the fighter in the blue gear hits his opponent on the back of the head. Following this, the referee intervenes and splits the two. He then moves on to check on the fighter in red who seemed to be ready to trade once again. However, the referee would stop the fight despite the red fighter not being knocked down. The video was recently shared by Boxing Kingdom, who asked fans if this was the worst amateur boxing stoppage ever.

A user named Sanguine claimed that there was not enough evidence from the video to form a conclusion.
According to her, the boxer in the red trunks might have been knocked down previously in the fight which is why the referee put an end to the contest.
Come on BK. You know more about boxing to form this conclusion without any context. Likely the boxer in red has already been down. His movement also stilted, slow, and we can’t see his eyes, which the ref can. His corner doesn’t seem too surprised either.

Moreover, a user named Zorby also pointed out that the red fighter was not responding to the referee’s instructions.
Didn't see what happened before. Boxer didn't respond to refs instruction.

However, a user cited this as the worst stoppage in all of boxing.
Amateur? You mean worst stoppage in ALL of boxing.

Lastly, a user hilariously, claimed that the referee might have needed to use the washroom and thus ended the fight abruptly.
