One of the best things about the British Heavyweight scene is that it never runs dry of talented boxers. While the likes of Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua remain at the helm. There are skillful and competent contenders such as Dillian Whyte and Derek Chisora. Given his gifts for boxing and if he manages to check the relevant boxes, David Adeleye might soon find his name mentioned in the Heavyweight roster.

The twenty-six-year-old boxer was born to Nigerian parents in London. Taking up boxing at age fourteen, he turned professional in 2019. Adeleye has sparred with Tyson Fury during the latter’s preparation for the bout against Dillion Whyte. Since his debut, he has participated in eleven fights, winning all. Ten of his victories were knockouts! Yesterday, at London’s York Hall, he met six feet and seven inches tall Dmytro Bezus from Ukraine for the WBO European Heavyweight title.

Compared to his previous matches, his boxing seemed to have improved vastly. He is fighting per established standards of English boxers now.
