Floyd Mayweather, the former Pound-for-Pound king, recently showed that he has many more skills other than boxing. A few days back, he had an amazing table tennis contest with his friend Usher in the presence of his head coach, Gerald Tucker, in the garage.
Tucker shared the video on his Instagram story and unveiled why Mayweather’s uncle Roger Mayweather, the former professional boxer, did not allow them to spar.

He wrote, “It was very intriguing these 2 greats be super competitive in everything!!”
The clip showed a highly competitive contest between Mayweather and American singer Usher. Pointing to this intensity and closeness, Tucker wrote, “This why Roger didn’t allow me and Floyd to spar; we had to secretly spar when Roger would step outside the gym or at the house in the backyard.”

Tucker took the charge of training one of the greatest fighters of all time after his uncle Roger Mayweather passed away in March 2020. Since then Tucker is shouldering the responsibility of trainer and corner man. The first time, he prepared Mayweather was for an exhibition fight against social media personality Logan Paul.

Mayweather is landing back-to-back exhibitions since he took retirement from the sport in 2017. This year, he already entertained his fans live from Saudi Arabia by beating his former sparring partner Don Moore. The event turned out to be a great success.
Following this, Mayweather initiated talks for the second exhibition. Now, he has made it official that he is going to face former MMA artist Mikuru Asakura in Japan. According to reports, the showdown will reach fruition on September 25.
