In one of his recent Instagram posts, former WBA world super lightweight title holder Adrien Broner spoke about the challenges he has lately been facing. To add to the surprise, ‘The Problem’, who declared being in “high spirits” and his faith in God, feared he would miss registering his “happy ending“. Currently inactive, Broner asked for support. Following his victory against Jovanie Santiago in 2021, he has not returned to the ring.
Although a fight against Michael Williams Jr. was almost staged in 2023 by BLK Prime, the bout, unfortunately, had to be canceled due to an unprecedented injury suffered by Willams Jr. in training. Anyway, Broner moved on and signed with Don King. In King’s opinion, the duo made a “phenomenal team-up of superstar” while Broner announced his desire to win another title in boxing. Soon after Broner declared reviving his journey, he requested his fans to support him while adding, “#WorkOrDie AB“.

Broner, who recently signed with King to rediscover himself in boxing, spoke about the challenges he faced in the last few years of his life. However, Broner believes he cannot quit. If he does, the 33-year-old feels he will not embrace a happy ending. “I’ve been dealing with some of the toughest challenges of my life 2 1/2 years but I know if I quit then everything stop and the problems can only get bigger then I won’t ever see my happy ending,” declared ‘AB’ in one of his Instagram stories.

After the cancellation of the fight against Michael Williams Jr., it is not clear who Broner will likely face next in the ring. As much as Broner wants to rediscover himself, his fans want to see him return to the ring.
