Is Jake Paul dodging real challenges, or is KSI just another easy target for him?

YouTube boxer Jake Paul is coming off his win against former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson on Friday at Jerry World. Now, he has a plethora of challenges to choose from, including Artur Beterbiev, Daniel Dubois, and even retired Carl Froch. However, the question is, who ‘The Problem Child’ would choose next as his opponent?

Amid all this, one name has sparked the most debate—KSI. Paul and KSI, his fellow influencer and YouTube star, have been beefing since the beginning of influencer boxing, but a fight never really materialized for various reasons. One of the more recent reasons is the weight class they would fight in.

Paul is, of course, bigger than KSI, which would mean both fighters would have to move weight classes. However, the duo hasn’t come up with an answer to this conundrum, as their fans crave the eventual showdown between them. However, that seems to have changed, as Logan Paul, Jake’s brother, proposed a solution, and ‘El Gallo’ seems to have accepted.

Logan Paul humorously asked the 27-year-old, Jake, if he would be willing to fight KSI, pointing out that KSI is much younger than the opponents Jake has faced so far. Paul initially responded with another joke, stating, “KSI is old, he’s like 34 or something,” but later added, “He fits [the conditions], he’s retired. He’s a retired boxer like he doesn’t actually box.”

Logan Paul expressed a desire for his brother Jake and KSI to finally get along, but acknowledged, “that can’t happen without somebody getting f**king knocked out.” Jake, however, responded sarcastically, saying, “I’m ready.” Sensing Jake’s lack of seriousness, Logan pressed on, suggesting a coin flip to determine which weight class they should fight in.

“He’s too light, you’re too heavy. Should we flip a coin for the weight class,” Logan asked. Surprisingly, ‘The Problem Child’ didn’t have a problem with the idea, stating, “I would lowkey be down for that… I feel like it’s a fair compromise.” Meanwhile, KSI just lit up Jake Paul for fighting Mike Tyson.

KSI criticized Jake Paul for fighting an old opponent

Have an interesting take?

KSI has slammed Jake Paul for fighting 58-year-old Mike Tyson, calling the bout embarrassing and accusing Paul of avoiding real challenges. “He is an OAP. He is an old man, he had no right to be in the ring,” KSI said in an interview with The Stomping Ground. “Jake Paul is in his prime. I thought the whole thing was embarrassing, but Jake doesn’t give a s**t.”

While KSI acknowledged the event’s commercial success, he criticized Paul for misleading everyone that Tyson could still fight at his peak. He also accused Paul of dodging tougher opponents like Artur Beterbiev and Daniel Dubois. “He’s going to fight the easiest people and make himself look like he’s the f**ing best,” KSI concluded.

That being said, Jake Paul seems to have agreed to Logan Paul’s solution to make a fight between him and KSI. However, this could very well be all talk—it’s yet to be seen whether Paul will deliver anything. Do you think Jake Paul, and KSI for that matter, really want to fight each other?
