Laying their worries to rest, Anthony Guglielmi, a spokesperson for the Secret Service, said in a statement that Trump “is safe.”A similar but more upbeat statement followed from his son, Donald Trump Jr., who disclosed the conversation with his father and admitted, “I just spoke to my father on the phone, and he is in great spirits.”

The incident has shaken even the boxing world to the core, as several of the 78-year-old politician’s followers and admirers expressed their distress and relief. Some even predicted the outcome of the coming presidential reactions.

Boxing world rallies behind former POTUS
