The stage at the Diriyah Arena in Saudi Arabia recently stood witness to one of the most anticipated fights in modern boxing history. YouTuber turned boxing superstar, Jake Paul, finally had his long-yearned fight against Tommy Fury. Paul showcased an impressive performance during the fight. However, the fight did not go the way he wished. The judges declared Fury the winner by split decision. Paul also called for a rematch after the fight. Meanwhile, Paul’s older brother, Logan Paul, stood in solidarity with ‘The Problem Child’.

‘The Maverick’ was a guest on his brother’s show, BS w/ Jake Paul. The duo had an emotional conversation about Paul’s recent loss. And also delved into his future prospects and fights.

Logan Paul questions Tommy Fury’s post-victory celebration

In conversation, the older Paul voiced his faith in his brother’s pugilistic prowess. Fury had an exuberant celebration post his victory. And Paul felt that this might have cemented his brother’s notoriety as a behemoth in the world of boxing.

Talking about Fury’s victory, he said, “Like congrats to Fury. He’s great. But, did Tommy really win? Technically yeah, but like you’re gonna celebrate that? You’re supposed to kill this YouTuber. And he took you eight rounds and dropped.”

He further added, “Like congrats, but I don’t know. Are you satisfied? Because as a boxer, I don’t know if that would do it for me. On paper, you got a congrats. But, you celebrated like you won a World Cup.”

Paul also made it a point to tell his brother that he has a bright future in the sport of boxing.

Absolutely spot on, according to fans

Fans were in agreement with Paul’s statement about Fury’s celebration. Many of them even took to social media to share their thoughts about the same.

A few fans felt that Paul made a very valid point. Moreover, user @RashCentral7 even mentioned that many people refused to believe that the younger Paul was a real boxer until the Fury fight.

Similarly, user @loyal_2_footbal also questioned Fury’s celebrations after the fight.

However, Fury also received some support from fans. In fact, user @spidermannmma mentioned that most people doubted Fury ahead of the fight.
