A knockout percentage of over 90% at the highest level in boxing is almost unheard of unless it involves Deontay Wilder. The former WBC heavyweight champion was dethroned and defeated consecutively by Tyson Fury but that’s the only fighter Wilder has lost to. His next fight, although not official, appears to be against Andy Ruiz. Ruiz, on the other hand, is a formidable opponent for anyone in the heavyweight division. Back in 2019, he shook up the world by pulling off one of the greatest upsets in recent times by defeating former unified champ Anthony Joshua.
Ahead of his fight, Wilder is cutting no corners to be in his best shape possible. In a recent video posted by him on his Instagram account, Wilder shares glimpses of himself training at a beach. He does not reveal his workout or his drills but the video still showcases the intensity behind the same. Witnessing the video, the fans could feel Wilder kicking his training sessions to overdrive and revealed their excitement.
