Devin Haney currently holds the WBC Super Lightweight belt. However, in the past, he had a unique perspective during his time as the undisputed champion in the lightweight division. Expressing a personal attachment, he states, “All these belts are heavy. I wouldn’t want anyone else to be carrying them than me.” Despite this sentiment, Haney made the strategic decision to relinquish these titles.

This came in favor of pursuing the WBC Super Lightweight title against Regis Prograis. Notably, Haney has a tradition of commemorating successful fights with extravagant purchases. It ranged from a DHP initial pendant chain to a remarkable $400,000 Richard Mille Bubba Watson, acquired after his George Kambosos Jr. bout. Now, post his Prograis victory, he got himself other prized possessions.

On the night of the fight, Devin Haney was going home with the new WBC title on his shoulders, however, that wasn’t enough for the champion. Aside from the belt, Haney decided to get himself a $500,000 worth chain that had a custom name written on it, ‘Dream’. Moreover, he also flaunted his new watch that he wore over a chic pair of white gloves.

Haney said, “Y’all know, every fight I reward myself. Just fought 12 rounds, and it’s still the night of the fight, we on a jet. Now see The Dream piece, all GIA certified. $500,000 on the piece and I got something special, Frosted AP Purple.” Then he spoke about how he owns four Richard Mille timepieces, a Patek Philippe watch, and Skeleton AP.

Even after the Vasyl Lomachenko fight, the San Francisco-born boxer had splurged on something spectacular.

Haney bought a 17-carat mouthpiece for himself

Following a triumphant unanimous decision over Ukrainian fighter Vasyl Lomachenko, Haney indulged in his favorite form of post-fight reward—luxurious jewelry. Notably, his mouthpiece stands out as a dazzling example of extravagance, adorned with an impressive 17 carats of princess-cut flawless clarity D color diamonds.
