Australian boxer Ebanie Bridges has earned a reputation for herself in boxing within a very short period of time. She currently holds the IBF female bantamweight title, since she defeated Maria Cecilia Roman in March 2022. Notably, ‘The Blonde Bomber’ is now set to face fellow Australian Shannon O’Connell in the near future.

Shannon O’Connell has been branding Bridges as a ‘skanky stripper’ who does not know how to box. Following her remarks, Bridges said, “Apparently I’m just a skanky stripper cos I take my clothes off at weigh ins, like everyone has to…even her mayb my bae @will_parfitt_ shud become a boxer if stripping is all u gotta do.”

“Wud love to kno where else I strip off & I’m sure half my fans wud to let us no plz,” she concluded.

However, she further stated in a Tweet that O’Connell is a ‘sweet scientist’.

Fans frequently criticize Bridges for her fashion sense. The boxer, however, shuts down her critics with her in-ring action, showing her mettle by winning the IBF bantamweight title. Eddie Hearn, the head of Matchroom Boxing, is promoting the Australian boxer, who is strutting her way to the top with impressive performances.

While talking about her upcoming fight, the 35-year-old said, “I don’t underestimate anyone, she’s great one of the best in aus, and been around a long time. Every fight I train for the best version of them. But I am confident I beat her. No matter how hard the fight, this “sKaNkY sTriPpEr” beats her.”

Notably, Bridges made her professional boxing debut in 2019. On the other hand, O’Connell is a much more experienced boxer who has over 10 years of professional boxing experience. But ‘The Blonde Bomber’ has proved her worth with her stellar performances, and has an equal chance at winning.
