Terminator aka Arnold Schwarzenegger is a big success story. The 75-year-old is a synonym for bodybuilding. His love for lifting weights began at the age of 15. Though he would have aimed at becoming Mr. Universe and Mr. Olympia, he would have never thought that someday his hard work in the gym would make him an iconic actor and 38th governor of California.

In a special episode of ‘impaulsive clips’, the seven-time Mr. Olympia titleholder detailed the struggles he faced while transforming himself as an actor.

First, he mentioned the initial struggles that he faced before getting into acting. Since he was from Austria so he had to take speech classes to improve his accent, then he took acting and English classes to further enhance his skills. Eventually, it worked, and he got his first movie project, Conan The Barbarian. It came out in 1982. Later, he worked in movies like Commander, Predator, and many more.

“My heroes Reg Park and Steve Reeves, those guys they played Hercules. They went from bodybuilding into acting so I said maybe that’s what I should do so I started that and that was of course as intense about that as it was with bodybuilding and I started working on it in my speech classes and the accent removal classes acting classes English classes and all those kind of things.”, Schwarzenegger said.

Before this, Schwarzenegger mentioned what he was aiming for when he was of Logan Paul’s age. According to him, when was around 27, he was focusing on building the best body and garnering accolades in different bodybuilding competitions.

How did Arnold Schwarzenegger get into politics?

While Schwarzenegger was acting and getting big projects, he realized that it was not bringing in the excement that he was seeking. A change in his thought process made him curious to try something new and different.

Meanwhile, the state announced a recall election in California. Schwarzenegger seized this opportunity. He contested in the elections for the post of governor. Unlike politicians, he campaigned for two months only and became the 38th governor of the state. In Schwarzenegger’s words, he ‘really enjoyed the political life’.
