‘The Baddest Man on Planet’ harbored an old grudge against this specific pugilist since the days of their amateur career. Before squaring off in the ring in 1987 with this rival, Tyson said, “I never really hated anybody. I think I hate Tyrell Biggs. I want to give him a lesson. I want to hurt him real bad.”

These were the days when ‘Iron Mike’ was showcasing the best boxer inside him. He was ruthless and unstoppable. But the Olympic gold medalist, Biggs, was confident of his victory. He was 6 feet 5 inches tall, unbeaten rising force in heavyweight division. Before going into battle, Biggs said, “As good as I am, I know that I know how good I’m. I owe it to myself to go out there and beat Mike Tyson like I am his dad. He’s made for me, Tyson.”
